Dimraeth System Requirements: Minimum & Recommended PC Specs
The official Dimraeth system requirements — minimum and recommended PC specs from the Steam store, plus the GPU listing quirk you should know before installing.
Last checked: 2026-09-30 · Facts on this page come from the sources listed above; anything unverified is marked as unconfirmed. Early Access details can change with each official patch.

Dimraeth's system requirements are modest even by pixel-art standards, and Mudtek publishes both tiers openly on the Steam store. The Early Access build targets Windows PCs only, and the official listing carries an unusual quirk in the graphics row that is easy to misread — the recommended GPU is nominally weaker than the minimum one. Below is the full official table, what each line means for a real purchase decision, and the storage, network, and platform notes that sit around it.
Official minimum and recommended specs
Everything in this table is quoted from the Steam store's system requirements block, checked on September 30, 2026:
| Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| OS | Windows 10 | Windows 10 or Windows 11 |
| Processor | Intel Core i3 (4th gen) or AMD equivalent | Intel Core i5 (6th gen) or AMD Ryzen 3 |
| Memory | 4 GB RAM | 8 GB RAM |
| Graphics | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 (4GB) / AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT (4GB) | NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti / AMD RX 560 or better |
| DirectX | Version 11 | Version 12 |
| Network | Broadband internet connection | Broadband internet connection |
| Storage | 5 GB available space | 10 GB available space |
| Sound card | Integrated | Integrated or dedicated |
Two additional notes ship with the official listing: the game runs on most modern laptops and desktops, 4 GB of VRAM is required, and integrated graphics are not supported. That last line matters more than any single row — a laptop with capable integrated graphics but no discrete GPU fails the stated minimum regardless of the rest of its specs.
The GPU row, calibrated
Read the graphics row carefully: the recommended tier lists a GTX 1050 Ti, which is nominally a weaker card than the minimum tier's GTX 1650. The store publishes both lines verbatim, so the practical reading is per-component rather than per-tier — treat the GTX 1650 (4GB) / RX 5500 XT (4GB) line as the real GPU floor, the i5 (6th gen) / Ryzen 3 line as the real CPU target for smooth play, and the 8 GB / DirectX 12 / 10 GB rows as the comfortable configuration. The "or better" wording on the recommended GPU row keeps newer cards fully covered either way.
If you are buying or repurposing hardware specifically for Dimraeth, the CPU jump from i3 to i5 matters more than the GPU jump — this is a co-op action RPG with 8-player sessions, and the 8 GB memory tier is where community performance reports tend to settle. Storage, saves and platform scope
The 5 GB minimum footprint is small enough that storage will never be the bottleneck, though the recommended 10 GB headroom leaves room for Early Access content growth — Mudtek has already shipped several patches in the first weeks, and patch notes are tracked in our updates hub. Steam Cloud is listed as a supported feature, which pairs with the game's world-based autosave model described in our save guide.
Platform scope stays fixed for now: Windows only, via Steam, with full Steam Deck support stated in the official FAQ. There is no Mac or Linux build listed, and no console version announced — anything beyond that is roadmap talk until Mudtek says otherwise on an official channel.
Version and evidence note
Specs in this page are transcribed from the Steam store's official requirements block on 2026-09-30 (current build 0.107.7779). Mudtek has not published separate Early Access requirements or announced changes; if a future patch raises the floor, the store listing is the source that changes first. Community performance reports for specific laptops are not included here because they vary too much by device — the official table above is the only tiered reference Mudtek publishes.
FAQ
Can Dimraeth run on a low-end laptop?
The official minimum spec targets most modern laptops — a 4th-gen Intel Core i3, 4 GB RAM and a GTX 1650-class GPU with 4 GB VRAM. Mudtek's own store notes say it runs on most modern laptops and desktops, but integrated graphics are explicitly not supported, so a dedicated or discrete GPU is mandatory.
Do Dimraeth's system requirements change during Early Access?
Mudtek has not published any statement about raising the requirements during Early Access. The listed specs come straight from the Steam store today, and any change would appear there first — worth rechecking after major content patches.
Does Dimraeth support Steam Cloud saves?
Yes — the Steam store lists Steam Cloud among the game's features, alongside Steam Achievements and Family Sharing. Community guides also describe world-based autosaves, so your progress follows the game's persistence rules across machines signed into the same account.
