Is Dimraeth on PS5, Xbox or Switch? Console Status Explained
Dimraeth console status: no PS5, Xbox or Switch version exists and Mudtek has no confirmed console plans. What the official FAQ says and what PC players get instead.

Dimraeth is not on PS5, Xbox or Nintendo Switch, and no console version is currently announced — this is Mudtek's own position, stated verbatim in the official site FAQ: "At this time, we don't have confirmed plans for console releases. We're focused on delivering the best possible experience on PC first." The game shipped into Steam Early Access on September 15, 2026 as a Windows PC title, and the store's platform list reflects exactly that: Windows yes, Mac no, Linux no. Here is the full platform picture, including the one handheld that is officially supported.
Platform status at a glance
Every row below carries its official source, current as of build 0.107.7779:
| Platform | Status | Official basis |
|---|---|---|
| PC — Windows via Steam | Released (Early Access, Sep 15, 2026) | Steam store listing |
| Steam Deck | Fully supported | Official FAQ: "full support for the Steam Deck" |
| PlayStation 5 / PS4 | Not available, not announced | Official FAQ: no confirmed console plans |
| Xbox Series X/S | Not available, not announced | Official FAQ: no confirmed console plans |
| Nintendo Switch / Switch 2 | Not available, not announced | Official FAQ: no confirmed console plans |
| Mac / Linux | Not listed | Steam store platform block |
The FAQ's wording is deliberately open — "not confirmed plans" is not "never" — so the honest status for every console row is the same: nothing exists today, nothing is promised, and the official channels to watch are the Steam news feed and the Mudtek site FAQ. If a port ever happens, Early Access progress suggests it would follow the PC version's maturity rather than launch alongside it.
What "PC first" includes today
The PC-first focus comes with more controller goodwill than most Steam-only games bother with. The store lists full controller support, DualShock and DualSense entries, and the official FAQ says three input modes are supported: keyboard and mouse, gamepad, and a WASD-plus-mouse hybrid — "whether you're at your desk or on the couch." Paired with Steam Cloud and a full Steam Deck guide, the couch-play itch that console owners feel is partly covered on PC hardware already.
What the game deliberately does not have is couch co-op in the same-room, shared-screen sense: the FAQ confirms there is no local or split-screen multiplayer, so a second player needs their own PC, their own copy, and an internet connection. Online co-op runs up to 8 players peer-to-peer — the multiplayer guide and the crossplay explainer cover how joining actually works.
If you were waiting for a console version
Holding your purchase for a hypothetical port is a decision about an unannounced product, so the useful framing is what is verifiable: the game is Early Access with an estimated 18–24 month window, the developer's stated priority is PC polish, and the FAQ leaves consoles explicitly unconfirmed. Waiting costs you the current build's co-op window and none of the risk — nothing on any official channel suggests missing out on a future console release by playing now, since portable progression is a core design pillar and save data is world-based per the save guide.
Version and evidence note
Platform statuses are quoted from the official FAQ (dimraeth.com) and the Steam store platform block, checked 2026-09-30 against build 0.107.7779. Community speculation about ports is intentionally excluded — only Mudtek's own statements define this page. If the FAQ or store listing changes, this page updates with the new wording and date.
FAQ
Is Dimraeth coming to PS5?
There is no PS5 version of Dimraeth and none announced. Mudtek's official FAQ states the team has no confirmed plans for console releases right now and is focused on delivering the best possible experience on PC first.
Is Dimraeth on Nintendo Switch or Switch 2?
No Switch or Switch 2 version exists, and nothing has been announced. The only official platform statement covers PC via Steam with full Steam Deck support — a handheld-PC device, which is the closest thing to a portable way to play today.
Will Dimraeth ever come to consoles?
Nobody outside Mudtek knows, and Mudtek has not committed either way — the FAQ wording is 'at this time, we don't have confirmed plans', which leaves the door open without promising anything. Any real announcement would land on the official Steam news feed first.
